Internal Parts Associate:
Provide parts ordering and assistance to service technicians and other company employees. Individual is also responsible for ordering, receiving, and maintaining Company parts stock. Read catalogs, microfiche viewers, or computer displays in order to determine replacement part stock numbers and prices. Determine replacement parts required, according to inspections of old parts, employee requests, or employees’ descriptions of malfunctions, and additional as required.
Receive and fill orders for parts.
Fill employee orders from stock.
Work face to face with technicians.
Take inventory of stock and maintain accurately.
Communication and Customer Service a must.
Examine returned parts for defects, and exchange defective parts.
Mark and store parts in stockrooms according to prearranged systems.
Discuss use and features of various parts, based on knowledge of machines or equipment.
Ensure inventory is accurate.
Work with service staff.
Repair parts for Company equipment.
Other as assigned by manager.
Education and Requirements:
High School diploma or GED
Valid Driver’s license
Parts lookup experience required, preferably with construction and agricultural equipment.
Construction, Agricultural and Aerial Equipment Knowledge
Tractor Trailer Parts Knowledge Preferred
